Project Capsule: Greenfield Medical Modular Building
This 2884 sq. ft. medical modular building was designed with future expansion and energy efficiency in mind. A ribbon of windows surrounds the building. A collection of irregular sized stucco-covered modules arranged in an offset layout. Ultimately it dispels the image of modular as one big box. The interior was built to minimize steps and to maximize interaction between the various activities in a doctor’s office. Side walls and ceilings are fully insulated. Moreover the energy efficient E-glass windows reduce both heat exchange and U-V damage to interior surfaces. An added bonus for the client was that the clinic was occupied in under 80 days.
