Project Capsule: Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation Modular Classrooms
Occupy 50% sooner and save up to 40% of cost vs “stick-built” construction.
These modular classrooms took a mere 69 days to complete. Pac-Van designed and installed over 11,616 square feet of additional modular classroom space for the Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation. As you can see, the exterior aesthetics were important to this client, so the color was carefully chosen to match the existing (and relatively new) school buildings. Eleven 24×48 classrooms were divided among three elementary schools in the district. A lot of extras were also included to make the buildings as safe and accessible as possible, including over 2,600 ft of decks, ramps, concrete sidewalks and landings. In addition to the deadline that was given, there was also a very small access area in which to place all the prefab classrooms. However, the experienced Pac-Van crew made it through.
