The Possibilities Are Endless with Pac-Van’s Container Modifications
Many of Pac-Van’s branch teams can modify our units to fit our customers’ specific needs. Our highly skilled team of professionals are able to transform a normal shipping container into something special, like a kiosk, a retail pop-up container shop, tool crib, or even a guard shack.
Our Phoenix branch is home to one of Pac-Van’s largest modification shops. Recently the Phoenix team completed a multi-compartment shower area created out of a 20’ high cube. This shipping container shower unit took 4 weeks to complete and will be used onsite by mine employees.
This unit has 5 showers with a separate utility room built with external access. There is a tankless hot water system capable of up to 8 shower units if needed. The unit was framed, insulated, and covered with VCG panel, and then painted in a mold and moisture resistant paint. It also has a subfloor for plumbing and internal electrical, along with 3 ultra-strong extraction fans to reduce steam build up.
