Pac-Van’s Nashville branch created two very similar custom retail kiosks for a local apparel vendor. Both kiosks were created from 10’ shipping containers and will be used to sell Nashville branded bandannas, hats and shirts for adults, children, and babies.
Both kiosks will be located along different sections of Broadway Street in downtown Nashville. Broadway Street is a main thoroughfare in the downtown area. It includes an entertainment district renowned for its live country music, retail shops, restaurants, dessert spots, tourist attractions, and hotels.
Our Nashville branch worked closely with the vendor to provide pop-up retail containers that will provide customers with an experience that is both laid back and memorable.
Both projects called for full scale visibility of the products within the kiosks. Wall-to-ceiling glass windows and doors flank two sides of each container. These allow the customers to easily see the products. Electricity, including overhead track lighting and outdoor lighting, has been installed as have HVAC systems. Modern cedar planks have been installed on the floors, walls and ceilings to give the kiosks a more spacious feel.
One of the 10’ shipping containers will boast a second level observation deck with large gated terrace. The second container will have a pop-out electric awning for added protection from the elements. Each modified shipping container kiosk will provide the customer with a unique experience while they shop.
