Project Capsule: Greenfield Medical
This 2884 sq. ft. medical clinic was designed with future expansion and energy efficiency in mind. A ribbon of windows surrounds the building which is a collection of irregular sized stucco-covered modules arranged in an offset layout to provide eye appeal and to dispel the image of modular as one big box. The interior was built to minimize steps and to maximize interaction between the various activities in a doctor’s office complex. Side walls and ceilings are fully insulated, and the energy efficient E-glass windows were used to reduce both heat exchange and U-V damage to interior surfaces. An added bonus for the client was that the clinic was occupied in under 80 days.
