Recently in “Member Connection”, the quarterly newsletter for members of the Modular Building Institute, there was an article about the durability of modular construction.  Although it was a short article, it made a very significant point.  Modular buildings are just as durable as traditional stick-built structures, are built to the same codes, and if properly maintained, will last just as long. 

In addition, the article notes that modular construction is intrinsically more eco-friendly than building on site.  For more information, check out these three articles:
