By: Philip Nannie at Nashville Business Journal Indiana based Pac-Van Leasing and Sales has relocated its Middle Tennessee office to La Vergne and is now at 1062 Firestone Parkway just off Interstate 24. "The company has been in the Nashville area for five years and we just moved to our new location last week," says Kenny Gilpin, Branch Manager. Pac-Van's previous location was at 1633 Lebanon Pike Circle in Nashville. "We were just growing too quickly, so it was time to move and upgrade our facility," says Gilpin. Pac-Van supplies modular buildings, mobile offices and storage facilities to various businesses and other entities and clients in the commercial, industrial, construction, medical, special event and education markets. Gilpin's company leased three acres on a five year term with a one-year option to renew from Larry Beadle, Industrial leasing broker with NAI Mathews Parners. Beadle owned the land individually. Although Gilpin says Pac-Van's fortunes aren't necessarily tied to the construction business, he does say in some of the company's markets that connection has been made. Gilpin adds that the Nashville branch has yet to feel the negative effects of a building slowdown. Beadle says Pac-Van's move to La Vergne will be a good barometer for the state of the construction industry in Nashville. "If they do well, the construction industry is doing well," says Beadle. Pac-Van is based in Indianapolis, IN and maintains offices in 13 states total and can be found on the web at www.pacvan.com
