Architecture is at the heart of the construction industry. Since many of our customers who use mobile offices and storage containers are intimately involved in some phase of the building process, Pac-Van participates in many organizations that are responsible for the development, growth and upkeep of our local communities. 

Pac-Van Storage Containers Used in Unique Construction Project

Portable storage containers are used primarily for storing all types of items. They are extensively used at construction sites to keep materials secure and out of the elements and at retailers to store excess merchandise. However, a recent construction innovation employs these containers as structural supports during the building process.

Pac-Van, Inc. has been providing mobile offices and temporary storage equipment since 1993. During the course of those sixteen years, Pac-Van has expanded its footprint from just the Midwest to virtually the entire continental United States. We now offer services in 35 states from 26 locations across the country.

Pac-Van's secure ground level offices were featured in the Merit Times earlier this year.  The publication is distributed by the Las Vegas Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Not long ago, Pac-Van was able to participate in a great community project near our Indianapolis branch. The ABC television show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was in town to surprise the McFarland family with a renovation of their home. It was truly amazing how local businesses and the entire community were able to come together to makeover not only the McFarland home but their whole Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood.

Pac-Van mobile offices provide temporary space virtually anywhere. One of the most convenient features is their portable nature. There are many applications for mobile offices especially in the spring and summer months, including festivals, fairs, sporting events, and community events. Video Production Many summer events are covered by the media. Video production crews spend a lot of time on the road.

Right now, EVERYBODY is talking about green initiatives. At Pac-Van, we've been doing green for a while now - green buildings that is. Modular buildings can be reused which makes them very appealing for those who are conscious of their carbon footprint. We've actually won several awards for "Renovated Reuse" projects from the Modular Building Institute (MBI), which is the authority on modular buildings.

One of the dilemmas facing school boards and administrators is how to stay ahead of space needs while maintaining existing facilities. There are a number of reasons why temporary and permanent modular classrooms and complete modular schools are becoming a viable alternative. For many school districts, purchasing a new parcel of ground and developing an entirely new facility is an economically unsound option.
