Natural disasters show us how quickly things can go from good to bad. Nashville recently suffered some of the worst flooding imaginable and our hearts go out to those whose lives were impacted by this terrible event. We feel so fortunate that Pac-Van’s branch office near Nashville was spared allowing us to help others who weren’t.
Volunteer organizations like the Red Cross and United Way began funneling supplies and consumables to the area right away. Most of these groups needed secure temporary storage for the massive amounts of goods that were shipped in from all over the country. Standard 40’ storage containers provide an ideal solution to warehouse canned goods, bottled water and other non-perishable items.
Another issue that must be quickly resolved in these situations is how to get back to day-to-day business. For many companies, they are not able to continue to work from their existing facility so a temporary mobile or modular office is the only solution. We’re very proud of our team in Nashville because they were able to rapidly deploy nearly every mobile office and modular building off their lot. The ability to get these buildings to customers quickly helped to minimize those company’s down time.
Also in these situations, there is a huge demand for construction companies to repair the damage as quickly as possible. With the influx of architects, engineers, and construction workers, there’s a high demand for temporary storage for equipment and building materials as well as mobile offices to manage renovation projects.
While it may be a while before the doors to the Grand Ole Opry are reopened, Pac-Van will be there to the end supporting the businesses and workers doing their best to get things back to normal as quickly as possible for the residents of Nashville.
