Project Capsule: Berean Church
Berean Church needed a new building for their congregation. This 10,000 sq. ft. used modular building was customized to meet their vision of a new church, providing a substantial cost savings over a new building.
Prior to the removal of the building from its original site, the interior was gutted and the building was taken back to an open shell so it was easily customized for this project. Since the use of the building was altered, the re-design was submitted to the State Manufactured Housing Division for an approval to the change in occupancy code.
The interior of the building has a 12 ft. ceiling height thanks to the clearspan trusses. Other innovative features include custom wall finishes, enhancements to the exterior height of the building with a parapet wall, stucco and natural stone to create a pleasing façade and fire sprinklers to meet state codes for a place of assembly.
